You take control of a frog who must catch flies and other insects on his tongue before they devour the three apples that appear onscreen. However, there is a twist. Between levels, you will be given the opportunity to trade in your points for upgrades including a static cling tongue and a cybernetic brain; allies including a turtle and a dragon; and other boosters that range from a work visa to a presidential swimming pool.

As you play through Frog Fractions, you will come across surprise variations on the gameplay. Some waves of insects are defeated not by clicking with your mouse, but by typing certain words in the manner of a "learn typing" program like Rapid Typing Tutor.
